Environmentally friendly production processes, sustainable packaging solutions and the conscious use of resources. 2023 is not only our first reporting year in Germany, but also represents the starting year for measuring the future success of our activities.
The 5 topics that were formed on the basis of the materiality matrix are:

It is important for us to include not only our company, but also our stakeholders in the materiality matrix. Our stakeholders range from our crew to business partners, customers, suppliers, authorities, the local community, NGOs, competitors, legislators and interest groups.
Reducing emissions is a very important component. We focus on logistics and mobility as well as building and energy management.
We source our raw materials from all over the world, which means that many emissions are generated in logistics and mobility. HELA works primarily with transport companies that represent our values and are also working to reduce emissions. For example, over 2,000 tonnes of CO2e were saved in 2023 through electricity from hydropower (compared to conventional electricity).
